What year did you install this greenhouse? 2022

What do you grow inside your greenhouse? Variety of herbs, tomatoes, variety of peppers, peas and beans, onions, garlic, mint, starters, squash plants.

How did your Planta Greenhouse improve your gardening experience? Learning experience but it is extending our growing season and last year during the grasshopper infestation I had to transplant surviving outdoor garden plants into the greenhouse. Looking at turning this into a 4-season greenhouse.

What was your experience like buying from Planta Greenhouses? Good customer service and a good product.

What type of upgrades you've done? Tell us about your most innovative DIY solutions added to your greenhouse. Bought the sunshade which made a big difference. Installed a trellis for vining plants. This year working on heating and cooling system and buying several greenhouse shelves.

What's your favorite thing about your Planta Greenhouse? Good protection from critters and elements, good size for raised beds and once I bought the sunshade it was great. Our students are about to help clean it out and start early spring planting.

Anything else you'd like to add? If I had funding I would install another one. We are a non-profit farm running a school program so I’ll be applying for a grant to hopefully get another one. Right now I’m working on getting a grant to cover installation of electrical so I can install the heating and cooling system and have 4-season growing.
