Planta Greenhouse Model
Sungrow 26
Where did you set up your greenhouse?
Gulnare, CO, 81020 US
How was your experience buying from Planta Greenhouses?
Purchase was super easy. Delivery to our remote location took some coordination and pleading with the delivery company (they were scared to drive on snow in the mountains). Customer service has been great.
What's your favourite thing about your Planta Greenhouse?
It feels rock solid sturdy and is handling winds really well in southern Colorado.
What do you want to say to a person considering buying a Planta Greenhouse?
Upgrades we strongly suggest: use Gorilla clear tape on all poly ends and all seams, use automotive gaskets around automatic window vents, use the automatic openers instead of manual, add the vent lock-downs (see Steve Lloyd's posts on the community forum), raised entire greenhouse about 21" for more height, add aluminet shade cloth.
Where did you install this greenhouse?
west of the house
Is this your first greenhouse?
Yes
Any other comments?
Too much heat is an issue. I think exhaust fans will be necessary even with our 8 automatic vents along the roof. The aluminet shade cloth has helped about 10 degrees with heat.
