Growing Fresh Food Year-Round for the Spokane Community

What do you grow in your greenhouse?
We are starting our growing program with cultrually appropriate foods in partnership with Vets on the Farm to help feed our community while also helping veterans after active military life. Our goal is to grow: hot peppers (habanero, guajillo), okra, bok choy, eggplants, daikon radish, and bitter melon to name a few

How did this greenhouse change your growing season?
We are able to serve so many more people throughout the entire year now. Living in Spokane, Washington makes it difficult to serve people fresh food year-long but with this greenhouse it's been amazing. We're still working on our build out of the inside but we're about to teach families about grow bags! So excited about this new endevour!
