How would you rate your overall experience with Planta Greenhouses? (Open-ended rating)

What do you grow inside your greenhouse? A variety of tomatoes (especially heritage types), lettuces, mixed greens, Swiss chard, late varieties of spinach, Kale, beets, and onions.

How did your Planta Greenhouse improve your gardening experience? The greenhouse has extended our growing season into late October, providing protection from late frosts. It also protects greens from rabbits and deer, and allows us to work inside away from black flies and mosquitoes.

What was your experience like buying from Planta Greenhouses? We ordered our greenhouse and two roof windows online, and the kit and windows were delivered to a local freight company. Additional windows were ordered for ventilation and arrived promptly. Very happy with the service!

What type of upgrades have you done? Tell us about your most innovative DIY solutions. To prevent shifting in cold temperatures, we dug a trench filled with crushed rock and added a sump pit for water collection. Built raised cedar beds, added humidity control with crushed rock, and installed shelves for tools. Thinking about adding a 12V fan with a solar panel for air/heat exchange.

What’s your favorite thing about your Planta Greenhouse? The ability to enjoy our quiet rural setting and green space.

¿Cómo fue tu experiencia de compra online comprando en Planta Greenhouses?
Fue bastante sencillo con el invernadero y dos ventanas de ventilación entregadas en un solo palé. Hace poco pedí dos ventanas de ventilación más.

¿Cómo cambió este invernadero tu experiencia de jardinería?
Solíamos plantar al aire libre, pero estábamos a merced de los elementos. Ahora controlamos el entorno para nuestras plantas más tiernas.

¿Qué es lo que más te gusta del invernadero?
Cuando hace mal tiempo, podemos tomar un café en el invernadero y sentarnos a disfrutar del calor y el verdor.
