What year did you install this greenhouse? 2024

What do you grow inside your greenhouse? Tomatoes, squash, lettuce, herbs, cucumbers, kohlrabi, beans, sugar peas, peppers, pottypan, tomatillos, squash, spinach, cabbage, strawberries and flowers.

How did your Planta Greenhouse improve your gardening experience? My first year planting was awesome but a learning experience as well. I have tried planting for years and although my plants did grow I had a huge issue with wildlife stealing my harvests. Also to contribute is our short growing season in Northern Ontario. The greenhouse allowed me to plant early and continue to reap the rewards far past when I would have had to finish in previous years.

What was your experience like buying from Planta Greenhouses? It was incredibly easy buying from Planta. We live in a rural area so I was worried that there would be an issue with delivery, but no issues whatsoever. There was more communication throughout the whole ordering process than I would have expected and any questions I had were answered quickly.

What type of upgrades you've done? Tell us about your most innovative DIY solutions added to your greenhouse. My husband built a wood floor and boxes for me around the outer walls and one box in the middle which allowed me to walk around. We cut a large PVC pipe in half and capped the end and placed them in the brackets which allow me to grow herbs without taking up space in the box. Not sure what new ideas will come to mind this spring.

What's your favorite thing about your Planta Greenhouse? I'm not sure if I can pick one favorite thing about my greenhouse. I would have to say the ability to grab fresh vegetables again, especially tomatoes without having to worry about them being half eaten by squirrels or the deer.

Anything else you'd like to add? To anyone who is ordering, when you build your greenhouse, do yourself a favour and WATCH the videos they provide. The written instructions are difficult to understand but they send you lots of videos and tell you to watch them so take their advice. After trying without the videos, things went a lot smoother after watching them and the divorce lawyer was no longer needed, lol.
