This 48" x 48" model features a robust double-panel construction housed within a heavy-duty extruded frame. For maximum durability, the corners are precision-milled and welded, providing a significantly stronger build than standard alternatives. To ensure your greenhouse stays protected when the system is inactive, the interlocking louvers create an airtight weather seal against outside elements.
The internal mechanism uses nylon bearings and solid shafts to deliver a fluid and silent performance. As a cordless model, this unit is designed for permanent electrical integration and is compatible with 115/230 Volt power supplies. For safety, the manufacturer requires that wiring be performed by a certified electrician and include a manual disconnect switch. Once power is supplied, the motor actively maintains the panels in an open position; once cut, high-tension return springs pull the louvers back to a secure, closed state. For fully autonomous regulation, it can be paired with an optional thermostat (like the VC115) to open and close based on your specific temperature targets.
