I can now grow all year and do it without pesticides. I control everything from watering to soil conditions.

What type of upgrades you've done? Tell us about your most innovative DIY solutions added to your greenhouse.
I built custom areas for planting. I took the concept of straw bale gardening and brought it indoors. I created the perfect growing conditions. I also added a bench for potting and organizing my gardening tools.

What's your favorite thing about your Planta Greenhouse?
First off, it's my place to go find peace in the crazy world. I now grow throughout the year. My gardens are weed and chemical free. I also believe that it paid for itself not just in my harvest, but it added value to my house.

Anything else you'd like to add?
I think that most people think of as greenhouse as a spring/summer thing. I use mine to bring all of my perennials indoors for the winter. Our winters can be wet, dry, cold, whatever.
My greenhouse creates the perfect environment for them to flourish. Perennials can be really expensive, so I'm saving money there. One added bonus is that I can go to my local nurseries in the fall and buy everything at 75% off or more! I just bought a ton of very healthy lavender plants for less than $5...they still had the $25 price tag on them.

La calidad de construcción es increíble.
Como vivimos cerca del océano, los vientos huracanados son frecuentes, así que necesito uno que no se vuele. La mitad es un huerto de balas de paja... búscalo en YouTube si no lo conoces. La otra mitad son bancales elevados con mucho espacio para un banco de macetas y espacio de almacenamiento debajo.
Acabo de empezar a plantar hoy.
