We've been growing vegetables, herbs and flowers for our local food bank, Fare Share, for a few years. Our own freezer was full too. We gave 1839 lbs. in 2024, almost a ton!

My greenhouse was on a pretty steep slope so I had to raise one whole end about 3.5 ft off the ground which required a lot of additional work. The raised end also has a 10x10 ft deck. I think it turned out very nice.

A solid, square, and level foundation is very important and makes the build easier. Our foundation makes it impossible for rodents to sneak in.

Greenhouse has helped a lot to keep my citrus trees and other plants alive during the cold season. I have a lot of citrus trees happily growing during this crazy cold season... lots of blooming and new fruits.
