The internal mechanism uses nylon bearings and solid shafts to deliver a fluid and silent performance. As a cordless model, this unit is designed for permanent electrical integration and is compatible with 115/230 Volt power supplies. For safety, the manufacturer requires that wiring be performed by a certified electrician and include a manual disconnect switch. Once power is supplied, the motor actively maintains the panels in an open position; once cut, high-tension return springs pull the louvers back to a secure, closed state.
