Designed for permanent placement, this cordless model is intended for hardwired applications; for safety and compliance with local codes, installation should be performed by a licensed electrician and include a manual disconnect switch. The internal mechanism utilizes solid shafts and nylon bearings to guarantee quiet and fluid louver movement. While energized, the motor actively holds the panels in an open position; once power is removed, high-tension springs pull the louvers back into a secure, closed state.
