The system is designed for quiet, fluid performance, utilizing nylon bearings and solid shafts for smooth louver travel. Because this model is not pre-wired with a cord, it is intended for permanent installation; for safety and compliance with electrical codes, wiring should be completed by a licensed electrician and include a manual disconnect switch. Once energized, the motor actively holds the panels open, and when power is removed, high-tension return springs pull the louvers back into a secure, closed position. For a fully automated ventilation system, this shutter can be paired with an optional thermostat to regulate airflow based on your specific temperature set points.
