What made you get a Planta Greenhouse?
I got this greenhouse to start growing and selling plants. We have a small farm that sells free range eggs, honey, lavender fresh and dried, and fresh produce during the summer months. I thought by adding another facet to the farm we would be able to increase interest by having sort of a "One Stop Shop" to our ever growing customer base.
What competitors did you consider before purchasing from Planta Greenhouses?
I really didn't look past Planta Greenhouses because it was already exactly what I wanted.
Why did you choose to buy from Planta Greenhouses?
The structures seemed sound, the fact that we could do it ourselves appealed to me and I thought the prices were reasonable.
What do you grow inside your greenhouse?
I am currently growing several different varieties of tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, squash, beets, lettuce, gourds, and about 19 different varieties of annual flowers. Some examples of the flowers I'm growing are unique and/or unusual varieties that you won't normally see at the big box greenhouses. Some of these are Chocolate Cosmos, African Daisies, Calendula, Straw Flowers, Forget-Me Nots, and much more.
How did your Planta Greenhouse improve your gardening experience?
This greenhouse has made it possible to grow a ton more plants that we would not have been able to grow otherwise. It has made my garden experience a million times better!
What was your experience like buying from Planta Greenhouses?
My experience was great and everything came nicely packaged on a pallet. All of the boxed were labeled and easy to find. The customer service was great! I did have to reach out to Tony a few times, and he was a wonderful help!
What's your favourite thing about the Planta Greenhouse?
My favorite things are the top windows I can open on either end for ventilation when it gets too hot. We are in Idaho, and it gets really cold here even though the sun is blazing constantly. Needless to say, the greenhouse can get well over 100 degrees no matter how cold it is outside. We have a wi-fi thermometer out there that we can check on our cell phones regularly to see if I need to ventilate or not.
What would you say to a person considering purchasing a Planta Greenhouse?
I would say that it is worth the investment because it's a quality structure that will last many years.
