What made you get a Planta Greenhouse?
The reviews for the Planta Greenhouses were much more favorable than those of other manufacturers.

What competitors did you consider before purchasing from Planta Greenhouses?
All of them!! Really we just scoured the web for possibilities but we kept coming back to Planta.

Why did you choose to buy from Planta Greenhouses?
Reputation, strength, great reviews, and we got the impression that the customer service would be better with Planta than it seemed it would be from other makes.

What do you grow inside your greenhouse?
Starters for the season, mostly. We are able to get a big head start on the growing season. Our winters are pretty cold, but we can use a small heater and start seedlings pretty early. The summer gets too hot inside, as I have not added any cooling yet.

How did your Planta Greenhouse improve your gardening experience?
We have crops way earlier than our neighbors and we enjoy the early start to the season. We are going to try some new things with it over the winter. We'll see how that goes!

What was your experience like buying from Planta Greenhouses?  
Ordering was simple. Delivery was to a transfer station that we picked up from, as expected, no problems there. We ended up arranging for a return of the auto-opening skylights that we ordered with the greenhouse. We decided that if we plan on adding a heating/cooling unit, we would skip cutting the roof. Customer service was great about the return!

What's your favourite thing about the Planta Greenhouse?
It's so sturdy! It handles a snow load (although ours is not that impressive), high winds, hard rain,... it's awesome!
It also makes a nice place to sit out during a sunny winter day or a cool summer night! Oh, and the plant growing as well, I guess!

What would you say to a person considering purchasing a Planta Greenhouse?
Just do it! It's a great addition for any serious gardener (or semi-serious even).

Anything else you’d like to add?
We mounted ours on 4 x 6 timbers as a frame. The timbers are bolted together at the corners. You need to make sure that everything is VERY square and VERY level!
The plastic sheeting is not forgiving in any way if you don't get the frame square!! Take your time and get the base right first!
