What made you get a Planta Greenhouse?
I asked 'Gardener Scott' on YouTube which one he bought. He said it was a Planta. I went to your website. We live in a very high elevation, cold snowy short growing season and we needed something to help us extend our season and grow more food.
What competitors did you consider before purchasing from Planta Greenhouses?
We looked at several cheaper options but we liked Planta's warranty and the snow load strength.
Why did you choose to buy from Planta Greenhouses?
We liked the price, the warranty, strength of the greenhouse. The size and all the customer service or questions we had were always answered friendly and professionally.
What do you grow inside your greenhouse?
Currently we have: carrots, radishes, butter crunch lettuce, Nero di Toscana Kale, Japanese giant Red Mustard, Giant of Winter Spinach and a bunch of new plant starts to go outside in May. Things like Thyme, oregano, rosemary, cabbage, Brussels Sprouts, beets, bunching onions, strawberries, Horseradish, Rhubarb, Red Russian Kale.
How did your Planta Greenhouse improve your gardening experience?
I'm still learning how to get my timing right in the greenhouse but it has helped us grow cucumbers and other warm weather crops longer. It has allowed us to grow cool crops earlier and sooner in the fall.
What was your experience like buying from Planta Greenhouses? (Was it easy to buy? How was customer service? etc.)
It was very easy and the few times we needed customer service it was always available. Friendly and helpful. I spoke to Greg several times from his cell phone. Thank you Greg for helping me!
What's your favourite thing about the Planta Greenhouse?
The structure and strength. The height and length are perfect for us to grow a lot of vegetables and extend our growing season. It's absolutely necessary here.
What would you say to a person considering purchasing a Planta Greenhouse?
It's worth the cost to get a better, long-lasting product.
Anything else you’d like to add?
We enjoy our greenhouse and over time we will discover better ways to keep the draft out in winter.
