What made you get a Planta Greenhouse?
We were offered a program that would help subsidize a high tunnel-style greenhouse to extend the growing season. This style was similar to a high tunnel but of much better quality.

What competitors did you consider before purchasing from Planta Greenhouses?
I didn't consider many competitors. The quality of the high tunnels offered with the program was not good enough to last very long.

Why did you choose to buy from Planta Greenhouses?
We liked the automatic window vents, two-section doors on each end, sturdy framework, and durable plastic. The ability to withstand heavy snow was also a major selling point.

What do you grow inside your greenhouse?
In early spring, I plant a lot of lettuce and use it to start my small plants and flower pots. In summer, I have grown amazing sweet potatoes. I always have a tomato plant and some peppers for fall use when the weather gets colder. Spinach winters over and starts growing again in spring.

How did your Planta Greenhouse improve your gardening experience?
It has extended the growing season for us, allowing us to eat more fresh garden produce. Over the last year, there were only about two months when I didn't harvest anything.

What was your experience like buying from Planta Greenhouses? (was it easy to buy? How was customer service? etc)
It was easy to buy. We did have some shipping issues; the greenhouse got lost and some of the boxes were damaged.

What's your favourite thing about the Planta Greenhouse?
The windows. I don't have to go out to open them. I have secured them with chains so the wind isn't too hard on the cylinders that open them. The chains keep them from blowing open too far and bending the arms.

What would you say to a person considering purchasing a Planta Greenhouse?
I just had a friend buy one after they learned about mine. I really like mine. It is work to get it all set up, but it's worth it.

Anything else you’d like to add?
We put a self-watering system underneath the raised beds, which makes the watering part of it all much easier.
