What made you get a Planta Greenhouse?
The quality looked great, good value, and excellent customer service. We were looking for a greenhouse suitable to grow super hot peppers in a shorter growing season, and the Planta greenhouse checked all our boxes.
What competitors did you consider before purchasing from Planta Greenhouses?
We checked Home Depot, Home Hardware, and a few sites in the US, but none had what we were looking for.
Why did you choose to buy from Planta Greenhouses?
We bought from Planta because the greenhouse appeared to be of excellent quality, made to withstand Canadian winters, the price was good, and customer support was fantastic.
What do you grow inside your greenhouse?
Super hot peppers: Carolina Reapers, various Ghost Peppers, Hot Habanero Peppers, and Bahamian Goat Peppers. In addition, we harden off our flats of tomatoes and other veggies prior to planting. We grow everything to make our Souris Sauces salsas, hot sauces, and other preserves.
How did your Planta Greenhouse improve your gardening experience?
Hands down super successful in growing the super hot peppers. Our location can get super windy (east coast of PEI). Our first year without the Planta was an epic failure for trying to grow these peppers. The Planta enables us to grow beautiful, bountiful crops of these super hots.
What was your experience like buying from Planta Greenhouses? (was it easy to buy? How was customer service? etc.)
The purchase was easy, delivery went smoothly, and all our questions were answered. Customer service is fantastic. In September of 2022, Fiona hit the island. Our Planta greenhouse got directly hit with sustained wind speed of 120+ for close to 3 hours - it got damaged, lost about 6' off one end. Planta sent us a complete replacement for all materials required to repair - FREE of charge. Now, that is exceptional customer service!
What's your favourite thing about the Planta Greenhouse?
For our model, I love the height, there's plenty of room to move around. I love having a door on each end and lots of area to hang tools, etc.
What would you say to a person considering purchasing a Planta Greenhouse?
Highly recommend. Quality is excellent, customer service exceptional. Take your time installing and pay close attention to instructions, it can be easy to miss a step (if not read correctly) and then have to go back and redo it.

Just want to tell you how happy and appreciative we are with your wonderful assistance after Hurricane Fiona. Planta Greenhouse is what enables us to make our delicious Sirens Hot Sauces. Would love to send some to the staff!
