I grow SO much!
What made you get a Planta Greenhouse?
I was looking for a sturdy greenhouse that had good reviews, but at a reasonable price. It wasn't the cheapest, but it got way better reviews than cheaper kit greenhouses, and I loved the look of it too.
What competitors did you consider before purchasing from Planta Greenhouses?
I looked at the greenhouses sold by Costco, and those from BC Greenhouses.
Why did you choose to buy from Planta Greenhouses?
A balance of price and quality that was right for me.
What do you grow inside your greenhouse?
I grow SO much! In the summer, peppers and cucumbers grew the best, as well as tomatoes. All winter, I grew greens, especially Swiss chard. Springtime, now, I'm harvesting spinach, cilantro, kale, chard, parsley, thyme, and other greens. I overwintered pots of geraniums, horseradish, a lemon tree, and some tree cuttings.
How did your Planta Greenhouse improve your gardening experience?
I use it all year round. It's a fantastic place to start plants in the spring, and it allows me to grow heat-loving plants in a protected space. It looks fantastic in the corner of my garden, and I just love going in it!
What was your experience like buying from Planta Greenhouses? (was it easy to buy? How was customer service? etc.)
Buying it was easy, delivery was no problem. I didn't need customer service, so that wasn't a concern for me. The videos helped too.
What's your favourite thing about the Planta Greenhouse?
That I can grow food almost all year round, as well as start plants for the outside garden. Plus, it's just a great space to hang out in, especially when it's sunny but still cold outside.
What would you say to a person considering purchasing a Planta Greenhouse?
If you're not super handy, I'd hire a handy, techie type to install it. I didn't even try, but the person I hired did a great job.
Anything else you’d like to add?
Unfortunately, my greenhouse leaks, and I've seam sealed every seam I could with special greenhouse seam tape. I'm just living with it, but it's kind of a bummer.
