Starting Seeds Early Extends My Growing Season by Two Months

What made you get a Planta Greenhouse?
Design, price, and ease of assembly were big factors in our choice of greenhouse. Snow load and strength to withstand a tree branch hit were also factors as we live in a coastal forest with some unpredictable weather. The icing on the cake, so to speak, was that customer service was excellent.

What do you grow inside your greenhouse?
I start flower seeds off in the greenhouse to be transplanted out once the weather is clement and I grow tomatoes and peppers very successfully. I have also grown lemons and limes from seed. Cucumbers do really well too. Starting beans nice and early in the greenhouse gives me a really long productive season.

How did your Planta Greenhouse improve your gardening experience?
My growing season is much extended. Probably 2 months longer, maybe more. I can save money by starting my own seeds instead of buying seedlings or plants. I love the atmosphere inside my little greenhouse. It's a calm place, where even a watery winter sun can give a little warmth out of the wind. My little greenhouse is such a nice shape too. It is cute and pleasing to look at, as part of my garden features.

The durability is very good. I'm in my 3rd season now. The greenhouse has withstood multiple deep snow events and a couple of tree branch hits. It was a straightforward build with good instructions. There are no signs of degradation of the materials. It is important that it lasts well.
