Growing Citrus, Figs, and Melons Beyond Utah’s Growing Zone

What do you grow in your greenhouse?
Two dwarf citrus, one dwarf fig, cantaloupe, watermelon, lettuce, spinach, zucchini, tomato, onions, and herbs.

How did this greenhouse change your growing season?
I can grow citrus, and figs in Utah. Watermelons and cantaloupes since the season is so short.

Tomatoes and other vegetables much earlier and from seed. I use black water barrels to preserve heat as seen in the pictures, and will add wind and solar generated electricity at the end of the year for heating.

Yes

Any other comments?
Not that difficult to assemble. High winds 30 Mph not unusual. It does hardly shake. Steady.
