How would you rate your overall experience with Planta Greenhouses? Excellent.

What do you grow inside your greenhouse? We grow all of our produce for consumption in our greenhouse in tandem with our outdoor garden. When the weather shifts to winter, we are able to continue eating homegrown produce out of the greenhouse and no longer need to purchase from the grocery store. Also, we move our fig & lemon trees, strawberry, blueberry, and hibiscus in the greenhouse during winter months. We grow tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, beets, carrots, leeks, peas, string beans, broccoli rabe, kale, lettuce, mustard greens, basil, mint, eggplant, strawberry, lemon & figs. It's glorious!

How did your Planta Greenhouse improve your gardening experience? It has been a dream of ours to own a greenhouse. We find so much joy in watching our plants thrive in below-freezing weather. It has been our winter escape! Also, the greenhouse has saved many of our plants from high winds during hurricane season.

What was your experience like buying from Planta Greenhouses? Our experience was very easy. No need to contact customer service. The stories that others posted about their geographical location and reason for buying theirs were so helpful.

What type of upgrades have you done? Tell us about your most innovative DIY solutions added to your greenhouse. We built the greenhouse on a 4x4 wood foundation that is attached to concrete footings. This gave us a foot more height inside. Installed raised beds, pebble stone walkway, and sealed all seams with silicone.

What's your favorite thing about your Planta Greenhouse? It is a beautiful aesthetic, sturdy enough to withstand 50 mph winds thus far, and has a retro vibe to it.

Anything else you'd like to add? We are very interested in finding new ways to heat our greenhouse without relying on an electric heater. Wondering if there is a way to have a wood-burning stove either inside or outside the greenhouse to pump heat within. We are unable to put black water barrels and a compost pile due to limited space.
