2 extra weeks of growing in Montreal

What made you get a Planta Greenhouse?
Being able to grow vegetables from early spring till late October. Also, I was looking for a greenhouse that could resist high winds and a good snow load.

What competitors did you consider before purchasing from Planta Greenhouses?
None.

Why did you choose to buy from Planta Greenhouses?
It is robust and the right size for us. We are only two in the family.

What do you grow inside your greenhouse?
Different types of tomatoes, different types of cucumbers, green salad (lettuce), garlic, red beets, one eggplant (this was not a success, I think it was lacking sufficient watering), and others.

How did your Planta Greenhouse improve your gardening experience?
I have some lettuce seeds which have adapted over the years to the climate here, and they grow everywhere in the spring (coming from our own compost). In the greenhouse, they started to grow as of February this year. So, I transplanted some at the end of February, and we have been eating lettuce since the end of March.

What was your experience like buying from Planta Greenhouses? (Was it easy to buy? How was customer service? etc.)
Buying was pretty easy, and the service was okay. The instructions for how to put it up lacked some details.

What's your favorite thing about the Planta Greenhouse?
I can start gardening much earlier in the spring and also extend harvesting for at least two weeks. Sometimes I've had a lot of tomatoes in my garden that couldn't ripen; now they have two more weeks to ripen.

What would you say to a person considering purchasing a Planta Greenhouse?
In general, this greenhouse is of good quality, and it allows you to grow vegetables that otherwise, depending on location and climate, would not have enough time to ripen.

Not for the moment. If anything, I would add another section or two.

What do you grow in your greenhouse?
Tomato, Cucumber, Lettuce, beet, green, red, and yellow peppers, and eggplant.

How was your online shopping experience like buying from Planta Greenhouses?
Easy and straightforward.

How did this greenhouse change your gardening experience?
I can start here in the Montreal area 2 weeks earlier in spring and get 2 more weeks in the fall.

What's your favourite thing about the greenhouse?
Being able to extend the growing season.
