What do you grow inside your greenhouse? I have a few hanging baskets, sweet potatoes, potatoes, tomato starts, and other starts for planting season.
How did your Planta Greenhouse improve your gardening experience? I really cannot get into my greenhouse right now to check on the vegetable starts. Snow arrived late and it just keeps on coming. I really had problems finding someone to assist me in putting this tinker toy together since my husband passed away. I finally found some help and we finished it just before the snow arrived. I was able to water the plants well before the first snow. I now have to wait for the snow to melt.
What was your experience like buying from Planta Greenhouses? It was very easy to purchase from your company and there is excellent customer service. I just wish you had a crew that would come out and assist with putting it together. Or maybe it needs directions for dummies. I did not get the extra window put in because we could not figure that one out.
What type of upgrades have you done? Tell us about your most innovative DIY solutions added to your greenhouse. I have built raised beds in it and am just waiting now for better weather to get the soil into them. I plan on planting carrots, beets, and other veggies in the raised beds. Our weather is crazy, and the growing season is short, so I hope this will assist with growing awesome plants. I believe it will assist with keeping the deer, antelope, and elk from eating my vegetables.
What's your favorite thing about your Planta Greenhouse? There are a significant number of nuts and bolts. It has already stood up to the 50 mph winds, hail, and currently 5 feet of snow.
Anything else you'd like to add? I cannot wait to see if I have anything that has survived the snow and -26-degree weather we have had this winter.
