What made you get a Planta Greenhouse?
We were looking for a Canadian company with a strong greenhouse. We wanted something we could put up and not have to take down every winter. I came across the Planta website and it was exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price.

What competitors did you consider before purchasing from Planta Greenhouses?
BC Greenhouses was too expensive, and the greenhouses at big box stores looked weak. We considered a high tunnel but knew it wouldn’t last with our weather conditions.

Why did you choose to buy from Planta Greenhouses?
For the durability and great customer service. If something goes wrong, I can contact Planta without hesitation and they will help me. This makes me feel better about my investment.

What do you grow inside your greenhouse?
We grow cucumbers, tomatoes, tons of peppers, melons, and eggplants. I have tried to grow these outdoors in the past, but due to being in a zone 3, they never did well. I am hoping to grow a watermelon this year! It would be my first time getting a ripe watermelon in Alberta!

How did your Planta Greenhouse improve your gardening experience?
I love that I can start planting over a month earlier than my last frost date and extend my growing season by another month. With our short season, we really need all the days we can get! I am still learning and would like to extend my season even further into winter.

What was your experience like buying from Planta Greenhouses? (was it easy to buy? How was customer service? etc.)
I had trouble buying it online, so I called Planta and they were able to complete the purchase over the phone. It was fairly seamless.

What's your favourite thing about the Planta Greenhouse?
My favourite thing about my greenhouse is how strong it is and that there are so many options and upgrades you can do.

What would you say to a person considering purchasing a Planta Greenhouse?
You won’t regret this investment!! Make sure to do your research to pick the perfect greenhouse, but I know that you will come back to Planta every time.

Anything else you’d like to add?
The only thing I wish is that the roof vents came with the greenhouse, as I feel you absolutely need them.

What do you grow in your greenhouse?
Everything! Tomatoes, carrots, basil, beans, melons, cucumbers, eggplants, peppers! I want to try and fit as much as I can into the beds.

What other brands did you consider before deciding to go with a Planta Greenhouse?
I looked at bc greenhouses, Costco and some high tunnels from the USA. However, I wanted something that I didn’t have to take down every winter and would be able to withstand our heavy snow.

How was your online shopping experience like buying from Planta Greenhouses?
I was having trouble buying online so I had to call in to make my order. The online website could be improved but once I called it was painless.

How did this greenhouse change your gardening experience?
Seeds germinate much faster than outdoors. Usually, carrots take 2 weeks to germinate and inside the greenhouse, they only took 4 days. It is a great greenhouse.

What's your favourite thing about the greenhouse?
I love that there are doors on both ends which helps with ventilation. In addition, I love how strong the frame is and that I will not have to worry about storms or blizzards.
