How would you rate your overall experience with Planta Greenhouses?What do you grow inside your greenhouse? I grow custom-designed and hand-carved memorials and gravestones! My Sungrow Compact greenhouse allows me to work year-round carving, grinding, and cutting stone. I know I'm not using the greenhouse in a conventional way, but I wanted to let folks know that it makes a perfect mini workshop!
How did your Planta Greenhouse improve your gardening experience? I use my Planta Greenhouse as a small annex to my stone carving shop. When I carve and cut gravestones that are granites or sandstones, I do it outside to keep the silica out of my studio. The greenhouse allows me to work through the winter with passive heating that keeps me toasty, even when I'm wet grinding in February! And the inside of the greenhouse can easily be hosed down to get rid of all stone dust and keep the work environment neat and tidy.
What was your experience like buying from Planta Greenhouses? Buying my Planta Greenhouse was a breeze! The customer service was great, and I was even able to drive and pick it up at the warehouse.
What type of upgrades have you done? Tell us about your most innovative DIY solutions added to your greenhouse. The best thing for my use was to install the greenhouse on galvanized bar grating as the floor. This allows the water and stone dust to go into the ground while allowing me to move my gravestones in on dollies that roll easily on the bar grate flooring.
What's your favorite thing about your Planta Greenhouse? EVERYTHING! The warm light, comfort, look, versatility, and durability make it a fine workshop!
