Thriving in Zone 3 with 10 Months of Bounty

What made you get a Planta Greenhouse?
I live in windy Nebraska Sandhills. It is hard to grow things with the harsh winter and tornado-like winds. I got this greenhouse one year ago and have had two growing seasons with it. It is my sanctuary. We use it all winter to sit in and have cocoa even when there’s nothing growing. People come for miles around to tour it. I can grow a full kitchen garden in it, rotating crops throughout the year and harvest out of it for about 10 months a year even though I am in zone 3.

What competitors did you consider before purchasing from Planta Greenhouses?
I looked at Greenhouse In The Snow and Hoklartherm. I didn’t have the money to do either of those brands.

Why did you choose to buy from Planta Greenhouses?
The cost was right and I needed to be able to add onto it later. The advertised ability to withstand wind and snow were big consideration.

What do you grow inside your greenhouse?
Strawberries, cucumbers, melons, tomatoes, chard, leeks, green beans, herbs, peas, flowers. I use it to start garden plants early which I sell to neighbors to help pay for the greenhouse.

How did your Planta Greenhouse improve your gardening experience?
It has improved my life greatly. It is nearly my favorite place to be in the world. It allows me to have reliable crops in spite of animals, wind, and moisture.

What was your experience like buying from Planta Greenhouses?
The greenhouse was easy to buy. The customer service has been great. I feel the assembly time was highly underestimated though. It took 7 person days to put it together.

What's your favourite thing about the Planta Greenhouse?
I like that it is modular so I can replace individual parts as needed.

What would you say to a person considering purchasing a Planta Greenhouse?
Buy it if you have the money. It’s more valuable than a therapist.

Anything else you’d like to add?
I think it should be assembled with only one screw type!!!
