It’s still a work in progress. I put geothermal tubes underneath, and it’s remained pretty stable in there for temperature most of the winter except when it was really chilly.
We extended our season and are experimenting with different plants to complement our outdoor garden. It's so nice to be able to grow year-round, and we're getting there as new greenhouse owners and gardeners.
My greenhouse can be temperature-tuned to grow nearly any fruit or vegetable. It has hydronic radiant-heated beds and air heat powered by an outdoor wood boiler, plus a 5000 CFM exhaust ventilation system and a 50% shade cloth for cooling, keeping ambient temperature in growable ranges during hot summer months
I added LED lights to give my winter crops more daylight hours to grow better. I also added a watering system to water everything all at once, saving time.
I know I use my Planta Greenhouse in a completely different way than 99% of your clients, but I just wanted you all to know another way your greenhouses are making a positive impact!
