What a beautiful and solid greenhouse. A real gem. Love spending time in it. Looking forward to growing some flowers and veggies too, but for now just enjoying being in it. The heat in the morning is so soothing I feel it in my bones. Definitely will have to leave some space for a small table and chair.
Overall a great experience, The videos and the booklet helped a lot, along with the phone calls to Planta.
Customer service is off the charts. Excellent!! Murad was the main person I emailed . Whether by phone or email service was consistently prompt, helpful and informative.
When the boxes of my Sungrow Urban first arrived I felt a little overwhelmed looking at all those pieces, nuts and bolts. However once we got get started, it was not as hard as it seemed. I now look at my greenhouse and feel so proud. Thank you Planta for a great and sturdy greenhouse and a memorable experience.
Hi Georgia, we appreciate your kind words about our customer service. Enjoy your greenhouse, it looks amazing!
Looking forward to the extended growing season. First time greenhousers! Excited to experiment! Was surprised it only took 2 and a half days to build.
It's impressive that you got it built in just 2 and a half days, and it looks fantastic. Happy gardening!
We’re retired, we live in Southcentral AK, and the Sungrow Compact was a great choice for us. We drove to Anchorage in a standard pickup to pick it up, and transportation to Homer was relatively easy. The only reason for four stars rather than five is that assembly for us was more time consuming and tedious than we expected, even with all the helpful videos, and there were more than a few undo’s and start overs. That said, now that it’s done, kinks and all, I really do love it.
Thanks for sharing your experience and feedback!
We understand that assembly can sometimes be a bit challenging, and we're continuously working to improve our instructions. We're glad you are enjoying your Sungrow Compact, Happy gardening :)
After researching compact greenhouses I went with Planta even though it was not the least expensive. Cost is important to me, but so is quality and durability. In the end, I could not be happier with my purchase. The design, the materials and the instructions, both written and video, are excellent. I have had a lot of experience over the years assembling things like furniture, tools and grills, and I was impressed by how accurately the parts of the greenhouse went together. All the screw holes were in the exact right position and lined up perfectly. A couple of times it seemed like maybe I would need to enlarge a hole, but in each case it was because I had overlayed two parts in the wrong order. After reviewing the instructions I switched the parts around, and the holes lined up.
I did this pretty much as a one man job. A neighbor helped me while I stood the arches up and connected them. He also helped me lift the entire structure into the footer holes that I had dug. Other than that, I did the whole thing by myself. This included installing the plastic panels, although a helper would have been nice for that step. I had to use some ingenuity such as using a piece of tape to hold a wrench onto a nut while I tightened from the outside. Clamps were used to keep panels from slipping while I was getting them lined up.
The finished project is beautiful and extremely sturdy. I am still in the process of landscaping around it and building shelves inside. Really…

"It has extended our growing season, kept the deer from eating our garden, and been a place to protect our lemon tree from the winter.
I do recommend anyone considering a greenhouse to consider Planta... the strength, steel framing, almost any size, automatic windows!"
"It has made my growing season a little longer and I was able to start seeds in there for summer crops, and plant cold crops for winter time.
The best thing was I didn't have to worry that the plastic will rip or that a cat could claw its way to the inside of the greenhouse and ruin the outside."
"This is a greenhouse for life, not just a few years. It extended our growing season greatly. We're still using it in mid-January. It is above freezing at night and in the mid 50's during the day in January!"
