How did your Planta Greenhouse improve your gardening experience? We moved to Colorado Springs three years ago, and gardening here was much more challenging than in Minnesota. The growing season is short, the sun is harsh, and we had 7 hailstorms in our first year. After many challenges, we decided to purchase a greenhouse. I’m so glad we chose Planta! The greenhouse has extended our growing season by three months, allowing us to start plants from seed and save money. The produce is larger, more prolific, and healthier compared to outdoor raised beds. It has withstood 60mph winds, 100mph gusts, quarter-sized hail, and a foot of heavy wet snow. It’s a great product.

What type of upgrades have you done? Tell us about your most innovative DIY solutions added to your greenhouse. I installed 4 vents, a solar fan, solar lights, a misting system that runs off my yard irrigation, a heater, and a rain barrel to hand water plants during early spring and late fall when irrigation is off.

What’s your favorite thing about your Planta Greenhouse? I love how much better the plants do inside the greenhouse compared to outside.
