What made you get a Planta Greenhouse?
I decided to purchase a Planta Greenhouse because, after extensive research into the available options, it was clear that their greenhouses were the best value for money. They received excellent reviews and were designed to handle heavy snow loads and high winds.
What competitors did you consider before purchasing from Planta Greenhouses?
There were so many, I really explored my options, but a lot of manufacturers were either cost prohibitive, unavailable, had mediocre reviews, or were lacking in customer service. Palram, Outsunny, Monticello, and Rion were a few of the options I explored before settling on my Planta Greenhouse.
Why did you choose to buy from Planta Greenhouses?
Planta Greenhouses had a fantastic, durable, affordable product that would suit my needs exactly and would also enable me to expand my greenhouse in the future if I chose. The company had an excellent website, great and targeted reviews, and lots of images and videos that would help me set up the greenhouse. Their customers shared their experiences and ideas, which gave me confidence. The customer service representative I spoke with was very helpful.
What do you grow inside your greenhouse?
My greenhouse has allowed me to not only grow food items that would be difficult in a northern climate but has also extended the growing season. It doubles as a nice cozy place to sit in the winter months. I mainly grow cucumbers, tomatoes, strawberries, and lettuces.
How did your Planta Greenhouse improve your gardening experience?
I love my Planta Greenhouse! I can grow vegetables that I would have struggled to grow previously. It has expanded the growing season for me and also increased productivity. Additionally, it protects my vegetables from critters, namely deer and rabbits.
What was your experience like buying from Planta Greenhouses? (Was it easy to buy? How was customer service? etc.)
Buying my greenhouse was simple and pleasant. I spoke to a customer service representative at Planta who helped me through the process. I was able to speak to the same helpful person every time I called, which I liked, although I expect they are all very helpful. There was no pressure to buy add-ons I wasn't interested in and I was given quality advice on what might be useful whether I chose to purchase it or not. I opted to pick it up from the warehouse, which was also simple and straightforward. It was very compact and a well put together kit with excellent instructions provided.
What's your favorite thing about the Planta Greenhouse?
Finishing setting it up and standing back to admire the greenhouse I would be enjoying for many years to come was my favorite bit! Now that it's completed, my favorite bit is the soft lettuce and tasty tomatoes! It's amazing! I'm very happy!
What would you say to a person considering purchasing a Planta Greenhouse?
You'll love it! Don't wait and miss out on years of enjoyment and tasty treats from the garden. Everyone who sees my greenhouse wants one! It looks lovely too! I could imagine it making a wonderful sunroom if gardening is not your thing.
Anything else you’d like to add?
I love my greenhouse and will, in time, be adding to it. Planta makes a fantastic product and the price is unbeatable! I built it predominantly on my own, and only really required a second person for the final steps. It would be good with more folk, I'm sure, but it is possible to mainly complete it on your own with less than one hour help from someone else at the end. Good luck and enjoy!
