What made you get a Planta Greenhouse?
Looked like a quality greenhouse and one that would stand up to snow and wind that is common in our area. Being a seasonal property, we won’t be there all the time to remove accumulated snow, so strength was of importance.
What competitors did you consider before purchasing from Planta Greenhouses?
Some glass framed ones and plastic hoop style, but they did not seem to be as suitable.
Why did you choose to buy from Planta Greenhouses?
The price and quality seemed to be the best deal—not the cheapest, but for the quality, it seemed like the best deal. Also was a good size.
What do you grow inside your greenhouse?
We are still getting it set up, but plan to grow vegetables, herbs, and some decorative flowers as well. Also, we will use it to grow some landscaping plants to give them a good start before sending them out into the sometimes cold yard.
How did your Planta Greenhouse improve your gardening experience?
Our climate is one that fluctuates a lot. It can be hot and sunny and then have a snow storm pass through. We are at 3000 feet and decently north. The greenhouse will enable us to reliably grow vegetables for much of the year, and they will be protected from the cold fronts or snow and hail.
What was your experience like buying from Planta Greenhouses? (Was it easy to buy? How was customer service? etc.)
Easy, and I was able to pick up the greenhouse from their warehouse to save shipping costs. I have a trailer, so that was easy for me. Probably get it shipped if you don’t have a trailer!
What's your favourite thing about the Planta Greenhouse?
It is solid and looks good. I wasn’t able to finish installing one side as we are only there for a few weeks and I had other projects. But the quality of the greenhouse meant I could leave it somewhat unfinished over the winter without concern.
What would you say to a person considering purchasing a Planta Greenhouse?
Go get one and start gardening!
Anything else you’d like to add?
I also like that if I find the greenhouse too small, I can buy additional sections that will easily add onto my existing greenhouse. More buildings on a property are not great, so this is another really big plus to Planta.
