Supercharge your Sigma Greenhouse with the Planta Sigma Automatic Roof Vent. Improve air circulation by bringing in the fresh outside breeze, keeping your plants healthy and disease-free.

The automatic roof vent is heat-activated, which requires no electrical power or programming. This function ensures that hot air escapes during the day, preventing shrivelling or withering of your plants.

The number of windows recommended depends on the size of the greenhouse, the environment you’re located, and the types of plants that you’re planning on growing. The following numbers, however, are good a starting point:

  • Sigma Urban (10x13): 2-4 windows
  • Sigma 20 (10x19.5): 4-6 windows
  • Sigma 26 (10x26): 6 windows
  • Sigma 32 (10x32): 6-8 windows

We recommend installing an even number of ventilation windows on either side of the greenhouse for optimum airflow.

    Are You Superman?

    If you are, read no further. For we mortals, however, I strongly suggest installing the frame before installing any polycarbonate panels. It was not possible for this elderly man to lift the poly, squeeze the pieces together to line up three holes and install a screw and nut. I ended up loosening the metal bands and removing the lower panel. As much as I love undoing and redoing my work, maybe a notification in the install manual for the greenhouse could have saved me a few hours.

Because greenhouses are packaged in large boxes, they have unique shipping requirements, including: 

  • We will contact you to confirm shipping price, based on your location and order size.
  • Shipping on most orders is between $250 and $450. Deliveries to remote areas may cost extra.
  • When you place your order, please make sure to enter the correct Phone and Address at checkout. You will be contacted by phone before the item is shipped. We cannot be responsible for deliveries to incorrect addresses.
  • As part of the delivery process, we require a contactable telephone number (for the courier company to contact you) before the item is shipped.
  • We will make every effort to ship your order in the fastest possible manner, and by the mode of transportation that you specify; however, in the event of no specific instructions, we will use our judgment and ship the best, fastest and most economical way. We are not responsible for delayed delivery due to conditions beyond our control.
  • We do not ship to PO Boxes, as in most cases you will need to sign for your item. 
  • White glove delivery service isn't available. The greenhouse components are delivered in multiple boxes, the largest of which weighs 80lbs. The greenhouse will be delivered to your driveway. Please make arrangements to have the package moved to its installation location. 
  • Orders placed on weekends and public holidays will be processed the next business day.

The Sigma Ventilation Windows will only be compatible with Sigma Greenhouse models.

What is the window made out of?

The roof ventilation windows are made of the same material as your Planta Greenhouse: shatter-resistant polycarbonate and strong, galvanized steel.

How many roof Ventilation windows are recommended for the greenhouse?

We strongly recommend installing an even amount of roof ventilation windows so that you can place at least one on each side of the greenhouse.
