About Terra 27

The Planta "Terra" 27 greenhouse provides a compact, efficient environment tailored for commercial agriculture. 

This premium greenhouse features a 1mm thick galvanized iron frame with arch-shaped girders connected by purlins and solid end structures. It is 16 feet by 27 feet and 11.8 feet high and offers ample space for various crops.

Exact Size: 16.4' × 27.7' × 11.8'

Designed for ease of assembly, it can be anchored without a foundation by utilizing special frame endings or on a foundation using cleater angles. It includes a door on each end for efficient access and ventilation, creating an ideal environment for plant growth.

Enhance your Terra 27 with optional add-ons to meet specific agricultural needs:

  • Expansion kits to add 2.1 meters to the base length.
  • Ventilation windows with manual or automatic openings.

Shipping

Planta's commercial greenhouses require special shipping and delivery. Please read to learn how it works:

  • The average shipping fee for commercial greenhouses is between $500 to $2500. Remote areas might be more. Freight charges will be calculated at checkout. If the freight charge is not calculated please contact us to get it quoted by providing your full physical address.
  • We will contact you to confirm shipping price, based on your location and order size.
  • Receiver must have a suitable forklift/tractor (preferably with extensions) to offload the shipment. The largest skid is 10' by 8'.
  • Other delivery options are available upon request.
  • When you place your order, please make sure to enter the correct Phone and Address at checkout. You will be contacted by phone before the item is shipped. We cannot be responsible for deliveries to incorrect addresses.
  • As part of the delivery process, we require a contactable telephone number (for the delivery company to contact you) before the item is shipped.
  • We do not ship to PO Boxes, as you will need to sign for your item.  
  • Orders placed on weekends and public holidays will be processed the next business day.

Side Ventilation Windows

Can I add windows for my greenhouse later?

Roof ventilation windows work as an add-on and can be installed only once the greenhouse installation is complete. Windows can be added later as well.

How do the automatic side ventilation windows work?

Our Automatic Side Ventilation Windows do not require batteries or electricity. A heat-activated mechanism opens and closes the window once a specific temperature is reached.

How many side ventilation windows are recommended for the greenhouse?

It is strongly recommended to go with an even amount of roof ventilation windows. This is so you can place at least one on either side of the greenhouse. The amount of windows required depends on the greenhouse size, the climate you are in, and the types of crops that will be grown inside the greenhouse.

What are the opening and maximum opening temperatures for the Automatic Side Vents?

The opening temperature is between 17 °C and 25°C (62.6°F to 77°F), while the maximum opening is at 30 °C (86°F).
