Cool idea for taping the seams with gorilla tape and rope
The greenhouse is finished! Overall, I am happy with this purchase. I know there are many choices out there, but for this price and lead time (1 week after purchase, I received it), I think it's a good deal. It definitely took some effort to assemble. I have a full shop, skills, and tools, and I have to say this was not an easy task—too many parts and bolts. Still, I respect the engineering and the logistics design. The videos were very helpful.
If I have to summarize, it takes about 1-2 days to assemble the front and rear (including doors and windows), tape all panels, and attach the metal strips. It takes 2 days to install on the foundations, tape seams, and install straps. The foundation is a whole different story. A 6-pack of Gorilla tape is definitely the right amount of tape you will need. Thank you to the member who suggested using rope to pull the tape over the top when taping the seams!!
It seems very sturdy. Now we will see how it stands against the next Texas storm (hail is where I get nervous). I will be modifying it with fans, vents, heaters, and shelves as we go.
