What do you grow in your greenhouse?
We grow lots of lettuce, kale, Swiss chard, tomatoes, and cucumbers. We start all sorts of flowers and vegetables in the greenhouse.

What other brands did you consider before deciding to go with a Planta Greenhouse?
We looked at BC Greenhouses...but the cost, setup, and transport are daunting compared to purchasing a Planta Greenhouse which we were able to pick up ourselves.

How was your online shopping experience like buying from Planta Greenhouses?
Simple. The website has everything you need. We only made one phone call to during the purchase process to confirm something. Great customer service people.

How did this greenhouse change your gardening experience?
It allowed us to start seedlings in late March, or early April OUTSIDE! No trays upon trays set up in the living room to get sunlight! But what is also awesome is that the greenhouse warms up so much, even in temperatures that are around zero outside. If it's a sunny day, the temps can climb into the teens, even in winter. It's a great bonus feature of the greenhouse, stepping from the cold winter air into the nice warm greenhouse.

What's your favourite thing about the greenhouse?
Our favourite thing about the Planta Greenhouse is the protection the unit provides...Protection from high winds, pounding rains, foraging animals, and most insects! Far fewer leaves are eaten by bugs inside the greenhouse than outside. Seedlings and growing plants stand a much better chance of survival inside.
Once strong enough, most can go outside and do well.
