What do you grow inside your greenhouse? Cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, carrots, herbs.

How did your Planta Greenhouse improve your gardening experience? Our Planta Greenhouse has significantly extended our growing season. Living in the far north, we have a very short summer. The greenhouse allows us to start our garden much earlier in the spring and extend it well into the fall. Plus, we no longer have to worry about critters like rabbits and voles that used to invade our outdoor garden!

What was your experience like buying from Planta Greenhouses? We heard about Planta from friends, did our own research, and decided to purchase one in the summer of 2022. I called the company and had all my questions answered easily. We ordered online, and it was delivered promptly. The video instructions for assembly were extremely helpful—my husband and I, both seniors, were able to put it together ourselves!

What type of upgrades have you done? Tell us about your most innovative DIY solutions added to your greenhouse. We installed raised beds and trellises for cucumbers, even attaching one across the top cross-bars to maximize growing space. We kept the center open for easy walking and arranged space between some beds for smaller pots.

What's your favorite thing about your Planta Greenhouse? There are so many things we love! It’s strong and sturdy, giving us peace of mind during heavy winter snows. It has plenty of space for our growing needs and looks beautiful in our summer yard.

Anything else you'd like to add? We truly enjoy using our Planta Greenhouse! As seniors, the raised beds make gardening much easier, and the transom doors provide the perfect airflow and temperature control when needed.

What made you get a Planta Greenhouse?
We wanted a greenhouse that was strong enough to withstand a heavy snow load. And the price was very reasonable.

What competitors did you consider before purchasing from Planta Greenhouses?
We looked at local lumberyard kits but they really didn't fit our needs.

Why did you choose to buy from Planta Greenhouses?
The company was easy to contact, had good reviews, reasonable delivery time, and was within our price range. With all the parts being sent on one pallet, it fit into the bed of our pickup truck and was easily transported.

What do you grow inside your greenhouse?
This first year we are experimenting with cucumbers, tomatoes, bush beans, lettuce, and carrots. We are pleased so far with these.

How did your Planta Greenhouse improve your gardening experience?
We have only had an outdoor garden in the past. So the greenhouse lengthens our growing season considerably. We were able to start vegetables earlier and expect that they will continue growing past our usual season.

What was your experience like buying from Planta Greenhouses?  
The website was extremely helpful. When I did call customer service for clarification on some questions, they were prompt in answering and were very helpful. The company gets high ratings all around from us.

What's your favourite thing about the Planta Greenhouse?
The solid construction is a huge factor. We never had to be concerned about the winter snow load. It also has plenty of room inside for our needs. The transom windows are a plus to us, also, as we can adjust for our varying temperatures easily.

What would you say to a person considering purchasing a Planta Greenhouse?
Do it! It's a good purchase and they will really enjoy it.

Anything else you’d like to add?
We felt the written instructions were incomplete and left us guessing in some areas. Fortunately, the videos answered the majority of those issues but not all. We had a few trial-and-error situations in the construction that we were able to figure out.

We have been very satisfied with the greenhouse and are enjoying it every day this summer!
