"This spring we have had heavy rains and some light hail, not a problem with either one, the Sungrow stood the challenge of Mother Nature and won!"

"We had a hailstorm just after we put the greenhouse up. The hail was the size of golf balls. There are a few minor indentations, but I was thoroughly impressed with how well it held structurally."

"The Planta Greenhouse was the perfect size and price and would withstand the elements. Get one bigger than you think because you'll fill it and it's totally worth it."

I purchased this greenhouse last spring and assembled it by myself. There are lots of nuts and bolts and it would help to have a second set of hands. Slow and steady is the trick. The final result was excellent and I had a successful summer. This past winter we had over 10 feet of snow that was collapsing roofs in the Barrie, Stayner area. The design and construction of the Planta greenhouse withstood a heavy snow load and I’ve been harvesting herbs and greens since March. I highly recommend this product.

Thank you so much, Chris! We're absolutely thrilled to hear that your Sungrow Urban has been such a fantastic investment and that you successfully tackled the assembly solo.
What's truly impressive is how your greenhouse weathered that extreme winter with over 10 feet of snow in the Barrie-Stayner area - especially when other roofs were collapsing! That kind of performance under such harsh conditions really showcases the strength and durability of our design and construction. We're so proud to hear it stood up to that incredible snow load.
Thank you for choosing Planta and for sharing such encouraging feedback about your experience with the Sungrow Urban through all seasons!
Going on the 4th season. It has held up well to our harsh winters and windy conditions in Eastern Wasington State. Assembly is not difficult. The YouTube videos are very helpful. I was able to run power and water to the selected site. The stamped holes lined up perfectly for screws. LOTS OF SCREWS/BOLTS! I had a few things I had to redo because I initially put together incorrectly. Once you get the process down using the videos for step by step "how to" it goes well. A quality product worth the time invested to complete. Once the site is prepped the way desired, 2 fairly handy people can get this put together and ready to use in 3 days. A kid or 2 for "go fer" etc. is helpful.
Thank you so much, Jim! We're absolutely thrilled to hear that your Sungrow 20 has been holding up so beautifully through four seasons of harsh Eastern Washington winters and windy conditions - that durability is exactly what we strive for!
Your experience perfectly captures what makes our greenhouses so special for DIY builders. We love that you found the YouTube videos helpful for getting through those step-by-step details. It sounds like you really got the hang of the process, and we're glad those stamped holes lined up perfectly for you. Don't worry about having to redo a few things initially - that's all part of the learning curve, and it's clear your attention to detail and persistence paid off in the end.
Thank you for choosing Planta and for sharing such detailed feedback about your four-season journey with the Sungrow 20!
