As we live next to a golf course our worry was damage from stray golf balls. The greenhouse has been hit by golf balls with no damage as the polycarbonate takes the ball hits.
Now our growing season has increased and we can control the environment which is nice considering we get lots of wind and hail here. It’s helped with pests also.
We will be extending the end of our growing season by at least 2 months, so a 3-to-4-month overall extension allowing us to add additional crops mid-year for late fall harvest.
